Kenwood Pediatrics is a father/daughter pediatrics clinic in Bethesda. Dr Ziad Idriss has served the children of this area since 1989, his daughter Nadine joined the practice in 2009. Both doctors share interest in preventive care, growth and development, allergy and infections in newborns, children and adolescents. They are fluent in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. 

Ziad Idriss M.D.,  F.A.A.P.
Dr. Ziad received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, his pediatrics residency degree from Harvard Medical Center, and his fellowship in pediatrics infectious diseases from Duke University Medical Center. He is board certified in Pediatrics, served on the faculty of the department of pediatrics at the Duke University Medical Center as the director of the residency training program, and is on the faculty of the department of pediatrics at Georgetown University Medical Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital, George Washington historical movie University Hospital and Suburban Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the author of a book on Pediatrics Infectious diseases and of several scientific medical articles. Dr. Ziad is the recipient of several medical awards including America’s Top Pediatrician, Patients Choice Award, Montgomery County Certificate of Appreciation, American Academy of Pediatric Education Award and has been listed in Washingtonian’s Washington’s top doctors. 

Dr. Ziad lives with his wife Nina in Bethesda. In addition to Nadine, they have two other younger daughters who are also physicians.

Nadine Idriss  M.D.

Dr. Nadine Idriss, Dr. Ziad Idriss' eldest daughter, received her medical degree from the George Washington University, and her Pediatric residency degree from Georgetown University Medical Center. She is board certified in Pediatrics at Georgetown University Medical Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital and a recipient of several awards including 2008 Pediatrics Resident of the year, Resident "Pearl" Award for Excellence in Teaching, and has been listed in the 2010 Washingtonian’s Washington’s Top Doctors.
Dr. Nadine lives in Bethesda with her husband, cardiologist Dr. Reza Sanai, and their two small children.

 


Ms. Virginia Jones, C.R.N.P


Our pediatrics nurse practitioner who graduated from Duke and John Hopkins universities. She has an excellent practicing experience with babies, toddlers and children.


Ms. Lauren Ranieri C.R.N.P


A pediatric nurse practitioner that graduated from the University of Florida and Emory University. She has excellent inpatient and outpatient experience with infants and children.
